When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing vibrant reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I discovered something on the Amadive itinerary: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart jumped. This was more than a standard reef dive; this was journey into the past.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive** was absolutely professional. Their Divemasters provided a very thorough safety briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in such a small group instantly made me feel confident.

Going down was magical. First, it's a shadow in the distance, then suddenly Best diving in Vietnam the structure came into view. It is enormous. It's now a bustling new home, covered in corals and teeming with marine life. We saw giant groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. That feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent vessel was indescribable—eerie, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough.
